Covid-19 Information
Lavaca Medical Center is not a drive-up/walk-up COVID-19 testing center. The Emergency Room is open 24/7 for patients who are sick and are needing Emergency Room services. Please contact your primary care physician regarding testing site locations.
Inpatient Visitor Policy:
Visiting Hours at LMC are from 8 a.m. - 8 p.m., 7 days a week.

Covid-19 Facility Updates:
Lavaca Medical Center (LMC) is dedicated to protecting the health and safety of our community, patients and employees. Lavaca Medical Center continues to take all precautions necessary as issued by the CDC to protect patients and healthcare workers. We have policies and procedures in place and will continue to work closely with the Texas Department of State Health Services and the CDC for their guidance. Please be aware of the measures below for the safety of our patients, visitors, and employees.
Hospital Entrances:
If you are experiencing fever, cough, shortness of breath, please drive to the back of the facility and a nurse will assist you.
The Health & Wellness Center Entrance is open for Physical Therapy patients and customers of The Health Rock Café.
All other patients/visitors are to use the Main Hospital Entrance or the Emergency Room Entrance.
Openings & Closures:
Lavaca Family Health Clinic hours of operation are
8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday - Friday.
The Fitness Center is open. You must access the Fitness Center from the door that opens directly from the gym to the outside of the building.
The Health Rock Café is open. Please use the Health & Wellness Center Entrance. Hours of operation are: Breakfast 7 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and Lunch 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
