Biography:
Morgan Heck, M.D., is a graduate of Texas Tech University Health Science Center in Lubbock, Texas. She did her residency and internship specializing in Family Medicine at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Amarillo, Texas.
Dr. Heck completed undergraduate studies at Rice University in Houston, Texas, where she majored in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology with a minor in Biochemistry and Cell Biology receiving her Bachelor of Science in 2012.
Morgan Heck, M.D., is a member in various Honorary and Professional Societies including: The American Medical Association, the American Academy of Family Physicians, the Texas Academy of Family Physicians, and the Potter-Randall County Medical Alliance. Her graduate and medical education honors and awards include: TTUHSC Amarillo Department of Family Medicine Wellness Committee Founder and Coordinator. Dr. Heck is a member of the LMC Active Staff, and began seeing patients in October 2018. She is accepting new patients.
In 2024, Dr. Heck became a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP). To become a Fellow, a Family Physician must complete a detailed list of requirements and be selected by the AAFP. The Degree of Fellow recognizes AAFP members who have distinguished themselves among their colleagues, as well as in their communities, by their service to family medicine, their advancement of health care to the American people, and their professional development through medical education and research.
