Angel Gonzalez, M.D., is a graduate of Anahuac University Medical School. He attended May Graduate School in Rochester, Minnesota and received his Masters in Biomedical Sciences - Clinical Research.Dr. Gonzalez completed an Internal Medicine Residency at Caritas St. Elizabeth's Medical Center in Brighton, Massachusetts. He also completed a Gastroenterology Fellowship at Tufts Medical Center/Steward St. Elizabeth's Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts. He was an Assistant Professor at Tufts University Medical School.
Angel Gonzalez, M.D., has contributed to various medical publications, and has volunteered in several settings. Volunteer activities include: volunteer on the Village Health Teams project for Omnimed and the Ugandan Ministry of Health developing a project for preventive medicine in rural areas Mukono, Uganda, volunteer as a general physician in the Medical Team serving in the mountain villages of Cunen and Lemoa in Guatemala, and volunteer as a medical student in the communities of Monton Cuarteles and Palo Solo in the Vaccination, Nutrition, and Health Education Services - Estado de Mexico, Mexico.
